Great Dane Airlines is the “data controller” as regards processing of your personal data in accordance with this Policy on protection of personal data. 3. Processing of your personal data by Great Dane Airlines
This Policy on protection of personal data explains how we collect, use and disclose your personal data when you use our services and in any other way interact with us as described below. 3.2 Booking of your ticket or other services
When you order a flight or other products or services from Great Dane Airlines, you are asked to provide information such as your name, your telephone number, your e-mail address and your payment information where relevant if you have registered a profile with us. Depending on your specific booking information, you may be asked to provide additional information such as your passport number, your date of birth etc. When you ask for special assistance, e.g. a special diet or wheelchair assistance, you may also be asked to provide relevant sensitive information about your health.
When you change your booking or in any other way request other support from us, we process the above-mentioned personal data that we have collected from you. We use your name and your contact information to keep you informed of your bookings. This includes that we send you reminders via a text message or e-mails concerning your flight departure, e.g. information about check-in being open or information that the gate has been changed and notices on delays or cancellations, if any. Generally, your flight with us involves services that are provided by third parties and we disclose your name, your contact information and other relevant information where this is necessary for the third party in question. The purpose of these processing activities is to provide the products and services that you have booked with us.
You must also state your payment information (e.g. card number and expiry date) in addition to your other personal data to carry out your payment. This personal data, in particular your name, your address, your e-mail address and your IP address, is disclosed to our payment service providers so that we can receive your payment and implement your booking. If you ask to have your payment refunded, this personal data will also be processed.
To meet our legal obligations, we may disclose your personal data to e.g. your card issuer, the security service of the airport or the police. The personal data we process for this purpose may include your name, your address, your e-mail address, your IP address, your payment information and your passport information.
The information you have given us for the purpose of booking and administration of the booking is stored for up to 10 years until it is no longer necessary in order for us to protect and defend Great Dane Airlines.
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data as described in this paragraph is your acceptance of the terms and conditions that apply to your booking with us and our legitimate interests in carrying on our business or that it is otherwise necessary for us to meet our legal obligations.
3.3 Registration of your profile and administration of your account
You are welcome to register your profile with Great Dane Airlines. It improves and simplifies your booking experience and makes it possible for us to present you with more relevant communication on the website and via other channels and it makes it possible for you to adjust how you want us to communicate with you. 3.4 Adaptation of your account
At Great Dane Airlines, we endeavor to personify our services and our communication and to ensure that they are more user-friendly. We want to give you an experience that is relevant for your personal preferences and needs. To be able to do this, we use data on how you use our digital services (website, e-mail, app etc.) in relation to other data we have on you to figure out what information you are likely to want to receive, how you want us to communicate with you, through which channels such communication is to take place and how often etc.

3.5 Customer service
Great Dane Airlines has different forms of customer service to be able to assist you. In order for us to provide customer service, we process your personal data with the purpose of identifying you and assisting you in the best possible manner. On our website, you can start a LiveChat and you can also contact us by telephone, e-mail, letter or via social media. When you communicate with us via one of these channels we take care of your inquiries, your questions and your feedback concerning our services. Depending on your inquiry, your question or your feedback, you may be asked to provide additional personal data such as your credit card number.
After you have contacted customer service, we examine the content of our communication with you, for example a recording of our communication with you in connection with the processing of your complaint. We also prepare reports and statistics by analyzing the personal data you have given us such as your name and your contact information. The purpose is to improve our service and give you a better user experience the next time you make use of our services.

The information you have given us for the purpose of booking and administration of the booking is stored for 10 years until it is no longer necessary in order for us to protect and defend Great Dane Airlines.

In order for you to get the most out of the offers we present to you, we send you or make you aware in other ways of the various activities and offers via e-mail, which may include newsletters, e-shots, unique offers based on your preferences or information on other special or seasonal offers. For this purpose we process your e-mail address, booking history and campaign participation history.
We may also send you offers that concern your coming flights via e-mail; for this purpose we process your e-mail address and booking history. In addition, we remind you via e-mail of your incomplete bookings and give you easy access to your incomplete bookings; for this purpose we process your e-mail address and data on your online behavior concerning your incomplete booking.
At Great Dane Airlines, we endeavor to be as relevant as possible to each individual customer across various digital channels. If you have visited our website, we may present you with relevant offers on other digital media based on your clicks on the website. For this purpose, we process anonymized IP addresses in cookies. When you visit our website without logging in to your user account, we use your online behavior to present relevant offers via our internet portals, our e-mail campaigns and other digital media. When you are logged in to your user account, we use the data you have registered with us, including booking and campaign participation history, online behavior and other data to endeavor to communicate with you in a manner that is as relevant as possible.

You are free to delete your personal data so that it is no longer used for marketing by deleting your profile on your account page. As regards anonymous user cookies, they cannot be traced back to a specific person, but they will still be deleted in accordance with the practice in the trade or by you – see section 5 of this Policy on protection of personal data.
The legal basis for processing of your personal data is your consent and our legitimate interests in carrying on and improving our business. You can administer your consents to this processing when you register a profile with us or you can do so at a later time by clicking on the settings in your user account. Please note that withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing that has taken place on the basis of consent granted prior to the withdrawal.
